Adding a Profile Photo to Your Resume

On the Build page, there's an "Import Photo" section where you can upload a picture of yourself. Once uploaded, it's placed in the header of your resume next to your name and title, and it now appears on every resume template — not just a specific subset of designs.
Adding a photo is available to accounts on the Basic plan and up. If you're on the free tier, the upload option is gated behind that plan requirement.
A photo is most useful for roles where a personal touch genuinely helps — BPO, sales, hospitality, and similar customer-facing work. For anything more conservative or corporate, a photo is entirely optional.
If you do add one, use a clear, well-lit photo similar to what you'd use for an ID or LinkedIn — a plain background and no other people in frame will look the most professional.
Changed your mind, or want a better shot? Re-uploading simply replaces the existing photo — there's no need to delete anything first, and it updates across every template the next time you download.
