Tracking Certifications and Renewal Dates

The Certifications tool has two parts: a curated catalog of certifications relevant to different professions, and a personal tracker where you mark which ones you're currently preparing for and which you've already completed.

For certifications with a defined validity period, the tracker computes a real expiry date based on when you completed it, rather than leaving you to remember or guess when a renewal is due.

This is meant to make certifications part of your ongoing career picture rather than a one-time line you add to a resume and forget about.

Marking something as "in prep" before you've finished it is intentional, not just a completed/not-completed toggle — it gives you a place to see everything you're actively working toward, not only what's already done.
